Please accept this letter as my recommendation for "Rita's Catering". During the production of the motion picture "HERE", Rita provided catering services for a scene depicting a gala event. Rita and her staff were both professional and flexible in terms of working within our difficult schedule. We encountered last minute changes the day of filming that required us to collect personal information from everyone that would be in attendenace. Rita and her staff were able to collect all their information and present it to us that day while still cooking and constructing decorations. They were above and beyond what we would have expected and would be a valuable addition to any event.

I write this letter on behalf of Rita’s Catering to convey my recommendation and appreciation for their excellent services. Rita’s Catering has provided a wide variety of catering services for me during my tour duty in Armenia. The events have ranged from large, official receptions for 100-150 people to buffet dinners for 20 persons to small sit-down dinners for 8 in my home. In all cases, the food has been of very high quality ande the service has been excellent. Rita’s Catering offers a wide variety of menu items and takes great care to vary the menu between each event.
My time schedule in Armenia is generally very tight. The excellent service provided by Rita’s Catering has made entertainment a trouble-free experience requiring very little of my time for preparation. With Rita’s Catering, I can provide hospitality to visitors, friends and colleagues and enjoy my guests without worry.
I will be leaving Armenia in the near future to take up a new assignment in Ivory Coast. One of my regrets is that I can’t take Rita’s Catering with me to my new duty station.

“International Relief and Development” (IBD) had the distinct pleasure of getting used of services provided by “Rita’s Catering”. We’ve been working with this catering service since the day of operation of IRD in Armenia.
We trusted them organizing not only indoor catering in Yerevan but also outdoor events in Alaverdi, Lori marz for the opening ceremony in the Medical Center there. It is hard to imagine how this group of professionals managed to cook without proper conditions for cooking and they served more than one hundred people during the opening ceremony. No matter, Armenian of foreigners, both enjoyed fresh and delicious food of “Rita’s Catering”, The food is not only tasty and diversified, but also very beautifully designed and served. Very clean and nicely dressed, waiters of “Rita’s Catering” are always ready to serve you, provide with an extra glass of juice and mineral, or take away an empty glass or unnecessary plates.
Regardless of heavy workload, “Rita’s Catering” is always willing to accept additional tasks, while never compromising the quality and integrity of work. “Rita’s Catering” will undoubtedly be a valuable asset to any occasion, party, for any organization or individual.

Фирме присущи несколько, на мой взгляд, важных черт: это – высочайшее качество пищи (и это мнение всегда со мной разделяют другие приглашенные), красивое оформление блюд, квалифицированная работа персонала (как поваров, так и официантов). I would like to take this opportunity to describe my experience with “Rita’s Catering”.
From November 9-12, 1998, I organized a conference for the World Bank on Social Funds in Transition Economies, held in Yerevan, Armenia. One hundred and twenty participants from fourteen countries attended the conference. “Rita’s Catering” provided the catering for the conference, including lunches and coffee breaks over the four-day event and an official reception.
I had been introduced to Ms.Rita Harutyunyan, the director of “Rita’s Catering by the director of the Armenian Social Investment Fund, who himself had held a successful reception catered by Rita. During the three weeks we prepared for the conference, I found Rita flexible, and amenable to the constant changes brought upon us by an evolving invitation list. She provided advice based on her professional experience, but the final decision was always ours.
During the conference itself, “Rita’s Catering” provided high-quality service and an excellent menu. The menu was not static, but changed during the four days of the conference. I was most impressed with the staff that she had selected and obviously taken time to train. They were young, quick and presentable. In addition, although we had discussed process, I had not realized the extent to which I was obtaining quality for our money. Our participants were also happy with the service – during the lunches I often had participants tell me how well the lunch was organized, that they liked a particular salad, that the next day should have more of the chicken with dip etc.
Most of all, I want to point out that organizing such a conference in Armenian mean non-stop stress and problems on all fronts. After the first day of the conference, I had already put aside any worried about the catering side. “Rita’s Catering” was one of the few “safe-areas” in my mind for the conference, where there was no need to follow-up to ensure something agreed upon was actually arried out. The menu and service was something to enjoy during the conference, and not something to worry about.
I have not met Ms. Rita Harutyunyan since then, but I have receommended her to a number of colleagues who have used her services and have been equally very satisfied. I wish her continued success.

Я знаком с услугами фирмы “Рита Кейтеринг” начиная с 1998 года. Тогда фирма “Симменс” открывала свое представительство в Армении. На церемонию открытия были приглашены официальные лица, гости из-за рубежа, руководители различных представительств и димпломатических миссий – всего 120 человек. Подготовительные работы по приему-размещению гостей заняли практически все наше время и мы осознали, что при организации фуршета мы не обойдемся без помощи профессионала.
Сотрудничество с фирмой “Рита Кейтеринг” убедило нас в том, что мы приобрели надежного помощника, который ответственно взялся за проведение своей части мероприятия, причем, без какого-либо отвлечения на это наших сил. Мы также воспользовались некоторыми профессиональными предложениями Риты, что , несомненно, украсило наш праздник. А качество пищи, посуда, оформление блюд, обслуживание заслужили самую высокую оценку наших гостей.
С той презентации прошло уже 11 лет, местный рынок услуг изменился радикально, а фирма Риты продолжает успешно работать и восхищать нас. Успехов им!

1. Iveta Hasratyan has worked for the U.S. DAO as the primary staff of Rita’s Catering Company. During the last two years, the catering service has been outstanding in every detail. The employees are always presentable, polite and responsive. The always arrive to the function with plenty of time to handle any contingency.
2. The food has always been fresh and tasty, with portions appropriate for the guests. Additionally, the catering service strives to keep the menu updated, but in line with the available seasonal fruits and vegetables.
In a country of limited culinary options, Rita’s Catering is a notable exception. This attention to detail and selection makes Rita’s Catering stand out above all the other services in Yerevan. I strongly recommend this company for the catering services it provides.

Social Protection Systems Strengthening Project (SPSS) is aimed at providing support to Armenia’s social sector and improving institutional capacity of the Government of RA. The project is being funded by USAID and opened its office in Armenia in 2006. Since then we have been using the services of Rita’s Catering in a number of different occasions.
1. At the SPSS office opening reception in 2007.
2. At the certificates delivery ceremony for the first Pillar Pension Reforms program participants, 2007.
3. SPSS has been carrying out numerous in-town and regional training sessions under “Job Search Skills” and “Job-Seekers Training” programs. Rita’s Catering catered for all events including lunch boxes delivery for the training classes held in Lori marz.
4. For the opening ceremony of the State Employment Services Agency Training Center which was renovated under the SPSS funding.
Our organization has always been satisfied with all aspects of Rita’s Catering services such as:
- quality and beautiful presentation of the food
- tastefully arranged serving sets, centerpieces, tables layout
- high reliability and professional skills of the personnel.
It is worth mentioning that we have experience observing RC’s activity in different capacities: ranging from coffee breaks, luncheons and buffet dinners to large corporate gatherings. In all cases the events were handled very professionally.
